SO MUCH FUN!!!
The only regret I have is that I don't have any photo of us doing the rafting. But good memories don't need photo to be reminded. I will remember this experience for ever. It was too much fun to be able to forget!
We had an excellent guide and my group was very motivated. Therefore, as we were doing it well, Berny (our guide) allowed us to take the rapid on the strongest and fastest part. We had, even if I know I'm repeating myself, so so much fun!!!
We stopped after 45 minutes to swing and the kids did a jumping contest to see who can jump the farthest. They also tried to sink me but I still had some strength to fight back. I can thank my brother, he was a good teacher jajaja! But when the 4 boys: Clark, Riley, Tim and Jacob came on me, I had no chance! I had taken my helmet off and they kindly put my helmet back on my head....but not before filling it with black sand...So kind of them....especially as some of you will know how easily it is to take the sand off the hair.... We'll see!
After a 20 minutes break we went back on the raft to continue. We attacked the other boat with a simple mission: putting the 3 teachers into the water. We managed to put Kelly out of the raft and we battled hard but finally managed to put Mark out but we didn't manage to put Jan out! The kids didn't want to try too hard also. I can understand them: Kelly is the mum of one of the girl, Mark is Jan's husband but Jan is THEIR Spanish teacher. I think them were a bit scared of consequences even if Jan is such a kind and lovely person. We were also all tired after the fight to put Mark out of the boat!
