Manuel Antonio

Today I went with Muni's group to Manuel Antonio. 33 kids and 9 adults....sporty! We needed to be at the school at 5am....Yes 5am...well when you only have a day in Manuel Antonio and that it takes 4 hours to go there....you can easily understand why you need to get up early.

On the way we stopped to see a bunch of trees in the middle of the water

 But when you get closer you can see that it's NOT a bunch of tress but crocodiles!!! Nice view…. I was thinking about going into the water to see if they were still alive but we didn’t have enough time to do so!....bad luck! ;)

We got at MA at 10 and went directly to the national park. We needed to cross it to go to the beach! We had the opportunity to see a Toucan and some monkeys!

 We then went up the hill to do a little walk in the park. We didn’t see any animal but we were able to see great views.

I was quite tired and after a quick bath in the warm water, I went to lie down on the beach…and felt asleep for 20 minutes! Fortunately I was in the shadow so I didn’t burn! Someone was watching over me:

 

After lunch a bad surprise was waiting us: Rain! Only one day at the beach and we had to have rain! We split up the big group into smaller one: those wanted to go back to the beach even if it was raining and those wanted to go shopping. I was among the second group and went looking for a Ocarina with 12 holes…Still impossible to find one! I’ve been looking for a month and still didn’t find one but I will^^ that’s my treasure hunt of this trip!

I bought a dress….why do you all laugh?... I really did! And even earing: Be careful, I’m becoming a girl!...Still a lot to do but I’m on my way ;)

The rain went worst so we decided to come back earlier. We packed everything and once everyone was on the bus, we went. We watched Avatar the Last Airbender and after some of them slept… I updated my blog… yes…still a bit geek…still bringing my laptop everywhere!

Arelys just phoned me. I might not have tomorrow free…. My group is going to the Volcan Poas with a guide and I can’t go with them because I can’t fit in the bus! Back luck! Instead I might go with Muni’s group to Rappelling but to help Meggie preparing the sandwiches! Well it must have bad part in my job ;)
