Goodbye Black Pine Circle!

29/04/2011

Today we went with the kids to the Canopy tour. I stayed with Merav, Dana and Jack who didn’t want to do it. We had a nice view of an exotic animal:

The rest of the day went smoothly with a bit of sadness for the kids because it was their last day in Costa Rica. We met again at 6:15pm to put all the luggage on the bus’ roof. Indeed, it was easier to do it in the evening than at 3:45am, time where we were all leaving for the airport. Royner decided to help me not missing my alarm clock: not going sleeping! We had a nice dinner and then Nanou came also to have a drink with us. At 1am, Mathéo passed in from of our door so we invited him to have a drink with us. They all tried my specialty: Sambuca with Strawberry syrup. I had a mazing time! Nanou went back to her place around 2:30am and Mathéo around 3am. Royner helped me cleaning everything and then went back home. I just had time to change clothe ad put what I needed in my bad before going to the meeting point. At least I had NO problem at all to fall asleep. I slept without any problem and forced myself to wake up around 7, where I knew we were near the airport.
The last goodbye where nothing compared to those with Jan Parsons’ group. We went to the Heredia Campus and I tried to sleep in one of the hammock but it was impossible: some 7 years-old kids had classes and at break time it was impossible to sleep.

At 1:45 Roy drove me to the bus station where I had to take the public bus at 3pm to go back to Monteverde. It was a long long journey…especially as we were stop 40minutes due to an accident. Of course no AC in the bus and I was wearing a long jeans and the thick shirt of CPI not to be cold at 4am….lucky me ;) The journey was nice and I slept most of it. Back at Monteverde at 8pm, I had nothing else in my mind apart two word: “shower” and “bed”.
