Cold=tired=sleep. I think I showed that pretty well on Saturday. It was a very lazy day indeed. I woke up at 10am, watched a movie in my bed, fell asleep around what I suppose was noon and was awaken by a phone call at 2pm. My boss called me to tell me that I might not have to take the public bus the next day because I could have a private STV transportation with her on Monday morning. That was good news because it meant 2 things: first not to have to lose my Sunday afternoon spending 5 hours in a public bus (and therefore enjoy my afternoon in Monteverde) and secondly that the transportation would only take 3 hours and would be much more comfortable.
I went back to sleep with that great news in my head and was shocked when I woke up because everything was dark around me...I slept until 7.50pm! But I felt a lot better, without any temperature left!
A shower later and my goodbye letter for Royner written, I headed to his place to give him back his jacket that I had stolen for nearly a week. It's a very nice and warm jacket. As someone stole my jacket and I didn't buy one yet, I was always using Royner's when I was getting cold at night so I finished by keeping it!
I went to his house and he wasn't there so I left the jacket, the letter and went back home. I knew we weren't going to see each other because he doesn't have internet or a phone at his house (yes...I know what you are thinking...) so it’s difficult to join him when he is not at the school. You can then imagine my surprise when my phone rang at 9:15pm and heard Royner’s voice. He was calling from his neighbors’ phone. He invited me to come to his place and to have dinner over there. I didn’t hesitate a second, jumped on my feet, got dressed and went to his house. We ate Chinese rice and he announced me that we needed to be quick because we needed to be at Mata E Cana at 10pm. Indeed the two crazy Canadians Katalynn and Scott that we had met in Nicaragua had arrived in Monteverde and they had arranged a meeting for this night. As internet hadn't been working at my place since Friday, I missed the last arrangement and would have missed them without Royner! We had a great time, once again, all together.
Back home I…. didn’t go to bed but packed all my things because I was leaving the next day just after brunch and I knew I wouldn’t be able to get up earlier to pack, it was better to do it right now.
