The night bus was surprisingly very comfortable. The seat could be inclined to a 45° so it was very easy to sleep in. I slept nearly all the time, waking up occasionally to turn the head the other side. We arrived at the border at 4:30am and had to wait for the border to open. After waiting until 5:10, we decided to go and have breakfast at the little dinner which was in front. We ate our last Gallo Pinto, with eggs for me and with cream for my dad. We went back queuing until 6 when they finally opened the border. 

We lasted nearly 4 hours for the border to open and for everyone to get the stamp from Costa Rica, the one from Pamana and to have their luggage checked. So well…I learnt how to sleep everywhere…

 

 

The bus dropt us at David, de temps en temps an hour from the border, where we had to take another bus to go to Boquete. When we arrived, a taxi was waiting at the bus station. 

We asked how much it would be to go to the public bus station, he told us 20$, we thought it was too much so we decided walking and asked him the direction. He told us 20minutes on the left. 25 meters later we stopped and asked a kind lady, she pointed to the other side of the building and said it was just there. We checked with a man waiting at the station: it was there!! Nice try of the taxi! Sure he would have driven during 10minutes and drove us back to the other side of the building…

We arrived at the bus station at Boquete and were thinking how to find the hostal. It wasn’t that hard: it was the first door in front of the stop! We checked in and went to the room to rest a bit.

 

Then we went to Explora Ya where we had reserved a tour (we reserved a 2 days tour + camping at night at the top of the volcano and they cancelled it 48hours before the tour…I’ll write them a very very “clairish” letter about that^^ I don’t like to be taken for a fool and they will learnt it the hard way). They gave us some basic infos and then we went to do a tour of the town, it started raining so we went home to find our rain jacket. 

 We went to have dinner in a typical restaurant where the prices were…nice :) 2 meals + 2 drinks + 1 desert =9$! Loved it!

And then it was time for bed!!
